Worms Armageddon LAN Game Freeze up help please

My Daughter and I used to play Worms Armageddon over our LAN and never had a
problem. We tried it again recently after not playing it for a year or so
and now we're having a lock up problem. We can type messages to each other
on the first screen, I can see her name and she can see mine. I type in a
game name and click HOST, then I can set up the options for our game. When
she tries to click on the Game Name I've created her computer freezes and
she has to reboot. It happens the same way when she hosts and I try to join
her game, my computer freezes. We both have v3.0. Any ideas??

Do you have other LAN programs / games to try? Perhaps the problem is not in
WA.
Is your daughter's computer's LAN working?

I haven't tried a different game but the LAN connection works fine for other
things. We can send files over the LAN. Also, like I said before, We can
see each other's names in the game. We can even send text message to each
other. When trying to join a hosted game, the person joining gets a
computer freeze up which requires a reboot.

UPDATE
I tried Playing Unreal Tournament over the LAN and it worked fine. Only
Worms Armageddon seems to have the problem.
